V prvom jarnom kole nadelili naši 5 kúskov Rimavskej aj napriek katastrofálnej hracej ploche. Tribúny sa bavili futbalom a nechýbali ani bengálske ohne!

Premiéra trenéra Peczeho na lavičke MŠK bola víťazná. Postaral sa o to z priameho kopu z vyše 30-tich metrov Peter Doležaj. Na severnej horeli ohne a fanúšikovia držali nad hlavami papiere s nápisom MŠK 1908.

17. 05. 2005 – MŠK ŽILINA – Artmedia Petržalka 0:1
Opäť jeden z rozhodujúcich súbojov o titul medzi nami a Petržalkou. Opäť pískal Ľ. Micheľ a opäť vyhrala Petržalka. Po veľmi prísnom až vymyslenom vylúčení Minarčíka sa hostia dostali do vedenia a aj s pomocou trojice “svätých” už toto vedenie z rúk nepustili. Plný štadión vyjadril svoj názor s výrokmi rozhodcu mohutným “Micheľ je k***t!” (prekvapujúco začala východná tribúna!), pridala sa aj severná vhodením bengálov na ihrisko. Svoje po zápase dostali aj hráči a trenér Artmedie, ktorí doslova utekali do kabín pred rozhnevanými fanúšikmi.

12. 08. 2005 - MŠK ŽILINA – Austria Viedeň 1:2
V predkole pohára uefa nám žreb prisúdil Austriu Viedeň. Prvý zápas hrajúci sa pod Dubňom odštartoval vo veľkom štýle. Pri nástupe hráčov horeli desiatky bengálskych ohňov okolo celého štadióna (krásne divadlo, v ktorom sa aj hráčom hrá oveľa lepšie – škoda, že zrazu to niekomu vadí), k tomu sa pridala celoštadiónova kartónovačka a zimomriavky sa objavili u každého jedného fanúšika. Ako vynikajúco tento duel začal, tak neslávne skončil. Po góle Ivana Bartoša sme síce vyhrávali 1:0, no v nadstavenom čase druhého polčasu sme inkasovali až dvakrát(!) a štadión doslova zmrzol.

Takmer vypredaný štadión, vynikajúca atmosféra, ktorú sme dotvorili aj my bengálskymi ohňami, lepšie sadla domácim, ktorí nám udelili debakel 4:1 a zaslúžene sa tak radovali z troch bodov.

V stredoslovenskom derby sme privítali hostí z Pažravej nápisom “VITAJTE V MESTE SEDLIACI”, predviedli pyroshow spolu s kartónovačkou a na ihrisku zas predviedli vynikajúci výkon naši hráči, no najmä Stanko Šesták, ktorý sa blysol hattrickom a donútil tak trenéra hostí k výmene brankára.
